I am a college student who is thinking of getting my Masters and PhD in Math. I was considering becoming a Professor one day (I just started college so I'm going to spending 5 years Undergrad, 2 years Masters and 4-6 PhD), so I was wondering what you think the probability is of becoming a Math professor in later years?

If you can’t help thinking about math all the time, you should become a math professor. If you are just good at doing problem sets, you will have trouble funding a PhD, but might be a good high school math teacher. DS is a math grad student, and he spends all his productive time just thinking. If this is an attractive prospect – go for it!
