What are the chances of getting into Phillips Exeter?

I was wondering what my chances of getting into phillips exeter would be? Last year I did not get in and it didn’t come as a surprise because of my weak SSAT scores.
This year I am considering reapplying as a repeat sophomore.
I am in the highest level courses available ( all honors and one AP)
I have straight A’s with a few B’s.
Row crew competitively (have a coaches rec and I have also briefly spoken to the Exeter coach)
Participate in Model UN, Best Buddies and a ceramic club
Volunteer at a hospital regularly
Have a recommendation from a surgeon I shadowed over the summer.
I have not taken my SSAT yet but am aiming for at least 90th percentile.
What are my chances of getting in? Will being from New England make it more difficult? Are my chances better applying as a repeat sophomore or junior? If someone else my age is applying from the same (public) school as me, will that make it more difficult? And will reapplying help? Feel free to be brutally honest I’m looking for any and all feedback. Thanks!

As a sophomore from an over-represented area, I would advise you to perhaps consider schools other than just Exeter. If you are set on Exeter, I would aim for an SSAT above their average (93%ile) Also, whether you request for FA or not is a large portion of your application unfortunately.

Goodluck and make sure to stress that you are a re-applicant during your interview!

Thanks for the help @LaxPrep !
