I just had an interview w/Dartmouth yesterday, and it was indeed one of the better ones I've done...
My interviewer noted that Dartmouth definitely fits my interests, but hearing that interviews really don't have that much effect at all, I was wondering if interviews can actually HELP you?

My interviewer had been doing it for 10 years, and he said the interview form is called "Form 8" and it is the LAST thing the admissions people look at. According to him, for some people who will definitely be admitted or rejected, admissions officers barely look at the interviewer rec. For people who are "on the edge" between acceptance/waitlist, it does count as a "tipper." Other tippers are legacy status and geographic diversity.

Hmm....alrighty, then.
okay, hopefully i get in either way so i dont have to stress out this much!
