What are the chances that my uni has used up all the FA?

So, I want to attend SFA in Nacogdoches, which has a rolling admissions (if that matters, idk). I wanted to attend Texas State but had a change of mind and decided that I wanted to go to SFA.

I put SFA on my FAFSA around March and submitted all necessary documents by May 16th. It would've been sooner if SNAP didn't take so long to give me a summary of their service to us for the 2011 year but that's not the point lol.

I've been waiting about 3 weeks, and I'm worried they don't have any FA to give out. My single mom made <16k last year as a housekeeper, so this FA package could REALLY affect whether or not I go to college for the fall.

Everything considered, what are the chances that SFA could give out any FA to me at this time?

You have to ask them You can also look at their history in terms of giving FA Do they guarantee to meet need? What % of need do they tend to meet?

No matter what you would eligible for a Pell Grant (~$5500) and a Stafford Loan (~$5500). I don’t know if any Texas aid money would be exhausted or not. Your best bet is to call the FA dept there.

Yes, according to some financial aid statistics online, SFA fully meets the need of FAFSA applicants about 65% of the time (for freshmen, 2009-10).

I called them with the same question and they said it should be fine and I’ll be notified in the next few weeks. I guess I’m still a little worried that at least 70% of my tuition and expenses won’t be met. Best of luck though, thanks guys.
