<p>So does anyone know when they start sending out their FAFSA / financial aid? Has anyone received any money through FAFSA yet?</p>
<p>The financial aid office said that aid is coming late this year because TAMU and TU had to wait for approval from the government. They said awards would be awarded in the next three weeks</p>

<p>Does anyone know if the Texas Aggie Grant and the Tx Public Education Grant are a part of Aggie Assurance?</p>
<p>The website says “You will not see the words Aggie Assurance on your financial aid offer. The Aggie Assurance is met through a combination of various grants and scholarships”, so I’m not exactly sure if I will be getting more financial aid</p>
<p>I emailed them a couple of days ago about this and this is what they said,</p>
<p>The Aggie Assurance is a program that we look at students who qualify based our qualifications and did not receive enough scholarships and grants to cover their tuition, not their fees. *We do not run this report until after the 12th class day of the Fall semester. *If you do not have enough grants and/or scholarships to cover your tuition then we will award you to meet the amount of your tuition.</p>
