<p>It was the indelible image of women running amok with hair that brought about Rice's eventual demise of appeal. No, just kidding. all the posts about hairyness i made up so don't take them seriously lol. The rice girls that i saw, being serious now, were hot. Given that the ones i saw were running around in super heroin? costumes-some sort of dress up day. Moreover, what the rice girls look like should be of little consequence in determining if Rice is a good fit, since they are generally speaking, average or above. There are, i'm sure, hot girls in the houston area, just go to Nordstroms or something.</p>
<p>I applied to Rice and would totally go there if I got in. Hopefully I'd have my pick of the CARBs. </p>
<p>For the record, I do shave and DO care about my personal appearance.</p>
<p>uhm actually some of the girls are Rice are hot. Just depends on where you scope for them ;). Like a few cheerleaders but when I took a visit i saw some here and their (very limited number). Rest of the girls are normal not really weird/creepy .</p>
<p>being in the same state as UT, its hard to live up to their standard (because world renown football schools tend to have really hot girls), but most of it is just myths or just rare exceptions.</p>
<p>I doubt most Rice girls are hideous and most Rice guys are socially awkward or nerds, I have not had that experience at all with my fellow 2013 class... I mean of course, compared to UT girls they might not live up to their standards but they are in no way ugly...</p>
<p>i took an official visit to rice as an athlete and got a taste for the rice community...</p>
<p>my day started at a football game and it seemed that most of the outgoing people showed up to socialize more than watch the game haha. everyone was incredibly nice and didnt care that i was still in hs..i was immediately part of the front row cheering at the top of my lungs and met plenty of attractive girls within the first five mins.</p>
<p>later on that night the team took me out to a really cool mexican restaurant..we gathered up with some of their friends that didnt go to rice and i realized that you live in the 4th largest city in america so if you dont find someone at rice then you have an entire city to select from haha</p>
<p>after dinner we went to one of the colleges to play dodge ball..i thought it would be all guys but a few girls were there. they were nice and didnt have hair on their legs as this thread seems to describe the girls..at the game there were def a lot more less social people but it was cool to see that everyone had fun even if it wasnt going to the football game.</p>
<p>and then at about 1 or 2 am we went to a rice party that was off campus haha...the people there were very..."outgoing". no one was standing awkwardly in the corner or anything...everyone was cool and knew how to have fun ;) </p>
<p>I'm not worried about the girls at Rice cause they were cool, cute, and outgoing...what else can you ask for? oh and we didnt have that night planned out at all...we just showed up to dodgeball and the party so the campus was def alive at night</p>
