I'm kind of interested in knowing what dorms are like.
Does anyone have pictures?

Are they the normal dorm rooms with either 1, 2, or 3 people etc.?
Or are they suites where a few people share a room but each person gets their own room (kind of like at Yale).

Its a lottery system so it all depends. If you get a really good number out of your priority picks you can get the best housing, but it all depends on the number. Normally undergrads will get 2 priority chances and 4 guaranteed requests for housing in their four years.

Stanford has TONS of different housing options, so it all depends where you end up. I went there last summer for a summer program and stayed in Synergy, one of the co-op houses. The rooms were really big for college dorms. Most of them were for two people, some for just one and some for three. I know that the place they had the camp last year (don't remember where it was, but I know it was different) also had rather large rooms and some even had a fireplace!
