What Are The Easiest APs?

What Are The Easiest APs?

We just had a thread going about the easiest and hardest, but OK.

AP Environmental and AP Psych are among the easiest. It depends on the person though.

The ones that are easiest to understand are AP Psychology, AP Environmental Science and AP Human Geography. Make sure to remember that the rigor of these courses vary among schools.

It depends on the school. At most schools psych and env are te easiest. I’d say none are easy at my school. The hardest at my school is bio.

AP Stats was super easy for me.

it depends on the person, the teacher, and the school.
for me the easiest at my school are ap bio, ap stat, ap environmental science, and ap psychology.

Hardest IMO is both AP Physics (ok it’s not really that bad since im not utterly lost) B and C. Also both Calculus courses -ab and bc. but my school is known for strong math/science.
AP Chem used to be hard, but enjoyable. Now it’s a joke and supposedly super easy - the good teacher moved away.

AP Languages and AP English are meh. It depends. AP English is supposedly a lot of work but is not hard.

Really depends on your strengths and school. AP env, currently is harder than AP Lang. In AP Lang, I have the best teacher in the school while in env the class is difficult because the way my teacher teaches.

I can’t speak from personal experience on AP Psychology and on Human Geo, but my friends say they get a lot of HW and projects.

AP Stats has been pretty easy so far, but I love math.
AP English is a ton of work and reading. I’m a pretty fast reader but I feel overloaded at times. I’d probably go with that as my hardest this year.

By the time you get to Senior year having taken many APs… All but the foreign languages become a cakewalk–material overlaps and you get watered down versions of other AP courses, it’s the same introductory college level, and you’ve mastered the techniques of getting A’s.

And then teachers want to cut senioritis and assign a bunch of redundant/busy work homework such as poetry analysis, the same types of statistics problems over and over, outlines, and copying the vocabulary straight out of the book… Yes, that’s the only way it is hard.

At my school, people think AP Euro is the easiest (or any AP history in general) and the hardest is AP Calc BC (even for math geniuses) and maybe AP Lit from all the reading and analysis. But that’s my school, it’s different for everyone.

At my school AP Stats and AP Psych are considered the easiest. Personally I have found AP English (Lang) extremely easy, though English is my best subject…

From my experience (largely depends on how my teachers taught though too):

Hardest:
AP World History
AP Microeconomics

Medium-Hard:
AP Physics B
AP Biology
AP Calc BC

Medium:
AP Chem
AP Lang

Easiest:
AP Psychology
AP Government
AP Spanish
AP Statistics (hands down the easiest class I’ve ever taken, including non-AP classes)

AP Statistics is sooo easy! :)

At my school, AP Biology, AP World (I often slack off and end up not reading a certain chapter, and I still ace the pop quizzes - EASY A+ every quarter), AP Environmental (Common sense… Plus we’re allowed test/quiz corrections - everyone gets an A, every quarter), and AP Psych are the easiest.

LOL at our school, AP Stats is a LOT harder than Calc BC - go figure, haha.

@ariaxxx How is AP Micro the hardest?

Here’s how I’d rank the AP classes I’ve taken so far according to workload.

(most)
AP Biology
AP World History
AP Statistics
AP Language and Composition
AP Physics B
AP US History
(least)

Here’s how I’ve rank them according to how ‘easy’ they are to understand, grasp, and excel in.

(easiest)
AP US History
AP World History
AP Language and Composition
AP Biology
AP Physics B
AP Statistics
(hardest)

At my school:
Easiest:
AP Economics
AP Psych
AP Lang

Average:
AP Stat
AP Bio
AP Calc AB/BC (pretty equal difficulty)
AP European History
AP World History

Hardest:
AP Physics B
AP Physics C
AP Chem
AP Lit

I know almost no one that takes AP Spanish, Italian, French, Latin, or Studio Art, so I can’t speak on those.
