What are the limits of transferring credits from a CC to a university?

I'm planning on going to a community college for either computer sciences for A.S. degree or music production for A.S.

after I get the associates degree, I was going to go to a University for Web Design/Development for B.S.

how does it work? is it possible?

community college credits :http://www.qcc.cuny.edu/academics/degree-programs/as-vapa.html
university credits :https://www.franklin.edu/web-development-bachelors-degree-curriculum

I have another question:
If I take the courses in community college and get 60 credits and transfer them all to the university which requires 124 credits for the bachelor's,

do I only have to take 64 credit hours for the bachelor's degree?

You need to look at the transfer requirements and limitations of the school you want to transfer to.

It really depends on the school.

For instance, in some colleges it may be easy to go from an AS in CS to Web Design, but may be more difficult to go from an AS in music production to Web Design. Also, certain majors can be competitive to transfer into at some schools.

As far as the number of credits needed to complete a Bachelor’s, as well as taking the minimum number of credits, you also have to fulfill gen ed and major requirements and some schools require that you spend at least 2 yrs on campus.

This all varies with the school, so you need to go to the college websites or contact schools for specific information.

Adding: since you give links to 2 schools, if these are the schools you’re currently attending and one you want to transfer to, talk to an advisor at your CC to see how smoothly the transition will go and how long it will take you to complete a BS. I’m afraid you can’t expect members here to read through those websites and give you advice; and you would not want to rely on such input as we are not necessarily familiar with those schools.
