what are ya'll doing over the summer?

eh...parts boredom, interest, and "why isn't there one yet?"

I'm a senior -> college freshman. I'll be starting a job as a waitress at either this sports bar Babes or fancy restaurant ChaChas (both have terrible names to say "I'm a waitress at _____", neither are really hoochie places, I'm just deciding between which will have better tips).

Also, clubbing with friends, swimming, lakes, going to Corpus on weekends, sleeping, movies, comics, getting in near trouble with the law, yadda yadda.

I think I'm expecting a lot of spiffy summer classes in physics and engineering or building robots or saving villages in 3rd world countries, since this is CC.

Spiffy summer classes (Calc. based Physics 1 and Intro to Engineering)

Building robots

Saving villages in 3rd world countries, since this is CC.
Just kidding. I’ll be:
Finishing up Precalc
Taking ACT
Taking SAT II USH
Getting AP results!!!
Just hanging out.

I’m taking physics and an intro to psychology course at university this summer.
And I’m going to get my driver’s license too!
high school senior ----> college freshman

Yup. :)

summer pe, week long cruise to alaska, volunteering at library, and possibly an internship. also possibly get my license and a car. possibly.

Well, uhh, you know, I applied to an academy that trains professional assassins. It had like 2% acceptance rate plus six interviews and exams. They told me I was accepted and are very excited to have me there this summer.

Also told me that if I give more information than that I’m as good as dead.

I’d like to do the stiletto spy school. I don’t have enough money for spy school though. I think it’s probably a part of the test to get in. Like: can you steal enough money in a secret heist in order to go to spy school? The spy schools’ form of scholarship.

Maybe I’ll put “perform an Ocean 11 like heist” on my list of things to do during summer.

Designing a new security system for the president.

And going to work in high tech physics labs down at a free camp, then working at george mason.

-Last minute prepping for SATs and ACTs if i want to retake
-Going to D.C. right after SAT retake in June to visit a couple of schools

 • Leaving to Dubai & catch up with friends that i havent seen in ages…and do other stuff while i’m over there :)

…i decided not to go to a summer program…i guess that’s my summer :/

-Going to Turkey for six weeks…living with a host family, going to language school, seeing the sights, etc.
-Perhaps try to squeeze in some volunteering

I’m trying to enroll late-dual-enrollment for Hogwarts, but it’s not working still.
I’m also try to make Paolini write that 4th book of his.
I’m making a time machine.
Proving that “why is there something rather than nothing?”
Finding a new country

i’m not really doing anything interesting :(

i’m going to kalahari for a weekend of debauchery with some friends, then going to see Neon Indian, then to see MGMT. so many good bands touring this summer. I’m also going on a cruise to Jamaica.

also band camp, and ACT lolz.

lol they’re like a good 45 minutes with no traffic where I live. Their Southside Cafe is godly.

I’m going to Virginia to visit cousins for a week. I’m also enrolled in a pretty serious soccer camp (I play recreational and have for a while, I’m pretty good though I don’t put it on college apps since I didn’t try out for the school team). That’s pretty much all.

moving, exploring the new city, find another job/ interesting volunteer position, finish that book that I’ve always wanted to finish, pack for college, fly back for college.

ugh, two completely different music camps

this is about to be sooooooooooooooo good

why the music camps if you don’t want to go?
