What are YOU going to be doing the night of March 9th?

I jst finished lord of the flied for english, the bad class, lol
then we watched the movie, and when piggy died everybody freaked out, it was ridiculous :D

don’t attack me, but I didn’t really like animal farm, not enough…metaphors and prettiful language (I mean, i get that the whole thing is kinda a metaphor, but I like description and razzle dazzle, like in Farenheit 451)

Homg, are we talking about books?! GOOD BOOKS?! I HAVE FOUND HOME!!

animal farm was okayish. although if we’re talking about dystopian books Life As We Knew It was AMAZING. i was scared to wash my hands excessively or use the vacuum cleaner for weeks o__o

I havn’t read fareneight actually. i liked animal farm but I’m definetly not a big fan at all. I’m watching the oscars

I didnt really like life as we knew it…i wanna watch the oscars but my mothers being annoying… pouts

I’m trying to watch the Oscars but can’t find a live stream. Blarghh. Which movie do you guys think will win Best Picture? I’m thinking Avatar or The Hurt Locker or Invictus. Except I really want Up to win, I actually cried during that movie…D:

I want Avatar to win, hurt locker was good and the south africans are cheaters :p

I can find a live stream but don’t want to watch the Oscars now because all I think of is M10. I would really love James Cameron to win the directing gig though. He’s a genius!

christopher waltz won supporting actor!! i think christopher plummer should have, though. D:

I think Stanley Tucci should have. Gotta catch up with the Oscars now!

avatar has to win best movie, i saw it in Imax 3-d last weekend, SO AMAZING! like, nothing compares! :D

hurt locker. cuz it’s actually an indipendent movie and spent 1/100 the budget avatar spent. Yet it’s still good :)

but, avatar has the best graphic animation though. Fascinating…

Books and Movies again!

sleeping soundly. i’ve already endured thins ;)

the oscars were freakin amazing!!! i watch it every year!! one day after i’ve graduated from choate i plan get one ( being extremely/ overly hopeful)!!! i’m not really allowed to c half those oscar movies anyways! hurt locker won for best picture/ kathryn bigelow (hurt locker) was the first woman to win best director/ sandra bullock (the blind side) won for best actress/ jeff bridges (crazy heart) won for best actor/ monique ( precious) won for best supporting actress/ chistopher waltz (inglorious bastards) won for best supporting actor/ Up won for best animated feature film

I just finished watching Lord of the Flies and reading it for English too.
I have read the book Gone for whoever was asking.
I can’t believe the Hurt Locker won; I wanted precious or Blindside to win. I’m one of those people who don’t like Avatar…at all.

Really? you’re entitled to that opinion of course but why? It was my favourite movie ever but I definitely really liked it even if it was cliched and predictible at times

My future stepdad (so happy for my mom! she LOVES him) worked on Avatar, so I’m sort of obligated to love it (we watched it the day it was released and again on my birthday). Yer yer yer!

It seemed really fake and “lost” in the special effects.

@konikamano: Please do me a favor. Ask your dad how could the special effects become as extraordinary as that? It must be hard!! and Congrats. Avatar won 3 at Oscar yesterday :D
