My options are politics, reaching for being PM of my country, business or academia - I think I want to teach linguistics. The reason I am so thrilled by going to an LAC is that I cannot make up my mind yet.

I want to either become a journalist or non-governmental director (or specialist in a certain policy area) or go into business. My eventual dream is to enter politics and some day (if they change the Constitution) run for President.

"i want to make a lot of money.
hopefully i become a businessman and have enough power and wealth to lobby those damn congressmen/women."

Haha, word. That's exactly what I want to - am doing - with my life. Instead of being a senator or congressman, I'd rather make a crapload of money and put good people in office. Now would be the time for future politicians to start sucking up to me ;)

I want to go to college because...
because I am thirsty for new experiences, people, places, words...
I am not sure what I want to do after that, but whatever it is, I will understand it when the right time comes.
I believe I don't need to have my whole life planned in order to live it the way I want.. I believe I just have to know what I should do in this very moment.
I'm international and it's late here so I am not thinking clearly enough to express my thoughts in English. sorry

Missionary doctor for UNICED+ THA FIRST EVER FEMALE PRESIDENT.

i'm studying kinesiology. i want to go into exercise physiology and work first-hand with individuals and the obesity epidemic. im looking to apply research, not do research.

i want to be able to spend a lot of time volunteering my knowledge and skills, not my money. i never had much growing up. i definitely look forward to giving more of my time once i am successful.

Deciding between....
1. Child advocate/Juvenile Public Defender
2. CIA agent
3. Congresswoman
4. Sports Lawyer

Me too, exactly. I'm not sure if that's what I'll end up doing, but I think it's weird that someone could pull my exact wishes out of their own head. WEIRD.

Good thread...

Anyway, if I stay focused enough, then I would like to obtain my law degree and then work my way up the United Nations. If that doesn't work out, then I guess I'll have to settle for a less noble, but more personal benefitting career in international business or business law/consulting.

Then when I get older, I'd like to be a teacher (and college admissions counselor). I think it's only best that I can give back what I've learned and present opportunities for others to become successful.

I am writing down SNs of those of you who want to be President. I'll be looking for you! :)

For something a bit different, I want to be a high school English teacher. I have the grades to be something a bit more prestigious, but honestly, this is what I want. When I get out of college, I'm hoping to take part in Teach for America (http://www.teachforamerica.org - Interesting site.) or something like it. Basically, I would like to teach in areas that are in dire need of good teachers; I think I could do it.

And if that falls through, education reformist and commercial graphic designer are always options.

i commend you, onsilverwings. i've also heard that teach for america is a great program.

and whoever wins president, you're gonna appoint me for secretary of state right? ;)

or at least some ambassadorship position to the UN or some other country ;)

I want to find some new truth in the world and express it beautifully. which basically means science (particularly physics) or the arts.
