same. i wonder if there’s a name for that. like some mental disorder :0

i like waiting for others to acknowledge me before i acknowledge them lulz

I do that, too.

Also, if someone walks in front of me or with me, I have to match their steps.

I take out the staple out of chemistry tests. And this only applies to chemistry tests.

I have a lot of writing implements, most of which are different. I have skinny mecahnical pencils ( I mean super skinny ) which I use for math when solving problems & drawing graphs, I have a thick blue pen I use for notes & “busy” work, I have markers I use for drawing/doodling or to grade our homework, and regular .7 mechanical pencils I use for most of the other work. So yea, they all have different purposes
I love my writing implements!

I stare at my shadow when I run.

I’ll sing the Serbian National Anthem sometimes without thinking, especially if someone’s talking about the Balkans…

“Boze pravde, ti sto spase/ Od propasti do sad nas…”

Whenever I read a book, I compulsively plan how it could be made into a movie. If it already has, I think of how I would make it better.

I hate having to memorize things for school, but sometimes I memorize unimportant things like song lyrics when I don’t even have to.

I do exactly the same thing! But I always thought 4 was straitlaced, if somewhat boring, and 3 was the conniving, mischievous one. I agree with you about 7, though.

I have yet to find someone who does this…

My left foot must always be the first to touch solid ground at the top or bottom of stairs.

When I write, my letters have to be perfectly aligned and formed. Like, if I’m writing an “o,” and it doesn’t form a complete ellipse, then I have to erase it and rewrite it.

OMG^, i do that with my letters too. i’m so ocd about how i write+it takes super long to get every letter just how i want it to be…pretty inconvenient ![]()
all of my friends say i ‘draw’ my letters & make fun of me for it, heh.

With every movie I watch I imagine, if I were the director, how I did it. Camera angles, special effects, everything.

I have no desire to do it in real life.

Pyroza: “I have yet to find someone who does this… My left foot must always be the first to touch solid ground at the top or bottom of stairs.”

raises hand When I’m in a hurry I simply have to not do it. It bothers me for the rest of he day.

I tend to try to stay “in step” when someone is walking next to/close to me…

Probably because of marching band…

What are my eccentricities?

Ehh… between 0 and 1

I also only start my homework when the time ends with a 5 or an 0.
Math at 6:53 PM? Forget it.

Depending on the person, I need certain people to always sit on my right side in the cafeteria or library … etc… But, my best friend can sit on my left. It’s weird …

Everytime I make a decision, I have to look out for numbers and make sure they add up to a number that is divisible by 3 or 7 (preferebly 3).

E.g., If I can’t decide whether I should have pancakes at a restaurant, I’ll think of pancakes and look out for a clock or something, and if it’s 7:50am I can have pancakes (7+5+0 = 12), but if it’s 7:51am (7+5+1 = 13) then I have to choose something else.

It’s really weird and really controlling :(.

I set myself goals with numbered ammounts for everying. Like if im walking to the stairs, ill say i can only take 6 steps, or if im reading a book, ill say only 2 more pages, buts i crazy cuz it was no rhyme or rhythm, its totally random! haha

and the worst is that at exactly 11.11pm every night i happen to look at the clock, EVERY NIGHT, i guess my brain does it automatically, and i make the same wish every time, and when i miss a night i get mad =P

I don’t sit regularly. I sit in any of the following,
- both legs fetal position, shins on desk
- one leg fetal position, other leg bent underneath
- both legs straight out, resting on something, sometimes crossed
- legs crossed, left foot bobbing.
When I have to focus on something, then both feet are on floor, apart, left foot bob. I have a tendency to do that during tests, but then get bored, lean back, revert to one of 1-4, and hold up the test upright to read.

I’ll draw my arms from the sleeves of my hoodie and either cross arm in front or hold in back (within my hoodie), when it’s cold.

The 11.11 clock thing creeps me out.

No matter what, I have to have my eraser in my hand when writing. Even if I’m using a pen. Otherwise I feel naked. :|

I do something similar to this. If I touch something with one hand, I have to touch it the exact same way with the other hand, until it feels “right.” And if it doesn’t feel right the first time, I have to balance the wrong touch out with the hand I touched something with initially, and [italics] then [/italics] try to balance out the first touch again. As you can imagine, this process can take a very long time… :/

When I told a psych I was seeing for something else about this, she looked at me like I was crazy
(then diagnosed me with OCD. I prefer ‘anal-retentive’, but that’s just me XD)

I don’t know if ANYONE else does this but this just came to me today.

Every time I get my hands wet I have to have BOTH hands wet, if one isn’t then I feel WEIRD and MUST get the other hand wet.

Weird eh?
