What were/are your safeties? Considering I am a slightly above average student, 3.75, 2100, 5%, good ecs, what colleges would you reccomend to me?

I need a few great schools that have easier admission rates. I am applying to Holy Cross in MA, but I am not sure if that will be safe enough RD.

Well, since you mentioned Holy Cross, I will take that as a cue that you are interested in similar northeast LACs.

How about the following, listed with the 75% (NOT median) for SAT scores:
1420, Hamilton College
1430, Colby College
1420, Bates College
1400, Trinity College
1380, Bucknell College
1350, Lafayette College
1350, Holy Cross
1400, Connecticut College
1340, Union College
1360, Franklin & Marshall College
1340, Skidmore College
1370, Dickinson College
1340, Gettysburg College

I'll give an extra plug for Lafayette College & Union College... I've heard wonderful things about these school... and it looks like your scores put you well above the 75% for SATs.

I GOT REJECTED FROM ONE MY SAFETY... DONT KNOW WHY.... but the kid who has a lower gpa and sat and one ec still got in... *** and i do the IB Program

The places harvardandberkeley mentioned are closer to matches for you. If you are not a minority or legacy and don't have a special talent, you will need to be in the upper half of admitted students in terms of stats. Anything with 1,400 SAT could be a high match for you, and maybe even a reach if your GPA is weighted. I think Union (NY) is closer to a low-match for you, but not a safety. Fordham might be a better safety choice, as someone already mentioned.

The SAT scores I listed are the 75 percentile... not the median...
If you are well above the 75 percentile and the school has an admission rate that is not insanely low, then chances are very good...

For example, the original poster's scores are 60 points HIGHER than the 75% for Union, and they admit about 50% of their applicants... that tells you that their applicant pool is small, and less prone to random rejections because they had way too many qualified applicants.

Lewis and Clark College, University of Puget Sound, Santa Clara University, Clark University, Wheaton Massachusetts. I've visited them all so I can answer any questions you might have.
