What are your SAT scores compared to your school's average?

^LOL, yes, I am the only one who took the SAT in my school. (Intl student).

My school refuses to give me an average for some reason
But my district’s average is a 1474/2400: CR-496, M-497 and W-481 (993/1600). Yuck.
Mine: CR-720, M-680, W-610, for a 2010/2400 (1400/1600). Not quite as good as I want, but I’ll get it up some this year.

At my previous high schools out west, the averages were approximately 1350-1450 out of 2400. My new high school, however, is in the upper midwest where the ACT is taken by about 99% of all college-bound students, compared to <5% for the SAT. Only some of the top students with ambitions of attending college outside the midwest actually take it. Our average then is about 650 CR/680 M/680 W for a total of around 2000. But, of course, with such a small sample size and with relatively good students taking it, this does represent the student body as a whole. The ACT average is approximately 24.6, which would correlate to around an 1800 or so, which is a much better approximation.

Dude,I’m in 7th grade, and 75% of our school does not know what the SATs are. This saddens me so much=(.

I go to a public hs in a relatively affluent area in maryland. i’d say my school’s avg SAT score is close to 1800.
