So I know a lot of people on this forum are ambitious and looking to get ahead in the admissions process in any way possible. I thought it might be a good idea to make a list of possible awards (Scholastic Art and Writing, HOBY Leadership, etc.) so that students know what options are available to them and don’t have to Google Search their way around the internet looking for opportunities.
People have asked this before. Not many are willing to share scholarship opportunities they’ve searched high and low for. I suggest you run a few google searches with the name of your region, state, town and scholarship. Also Google local charitable chapters plus scholarship. Many high schools have nice lists on their websites as well.
USA-something-O(Science Olympiads), Intel STS, Siemens Competition are the major science ones that come to mind.

@AnnieBot mentioned some of the most prestigious ones that can really boost your chances of getting into practically any college. I’d like to add on with a few that you don’t have to be the best of the best of the best to obtain and still look good on an application:
Presidential Volunteer Service Award
National exams for languages (i.e. National Spanish Exam)
AP exam awards
Any local writing/math/science competition that advances to state and national competition
Competitve clubs (TSA, FIRST Robotics, HOSA, etc [especially at a state or national level])
