what backpacks do you guys use?

Another vote for L.L. Bean

i live by my north face bag. love love love it.

I have an R.E.I. Newstar backpack, but that's designed for camping.

I just use a normal backpack I bought at Wal-Mart for my "heavy bookload" days, and for my light ones I use a tote bag I got at Bath and Body Works. I used to have an LL Bean...I lost it though during my move. :(

I have a northface laptop backpack that is simple enough to use for books, too. I also am getting a laptop tote that'll probably hold books.. and I'd like a messenger. Variety is good!

Samsonite for me.

LL Bean Bags are pretty much crap. I've gone through 4 in the past 5 years... and I'm not hard on my bags at all. Either the stitching has ripped out or the straps have fallen off. Thank goodness for lifetime guarentees.

who cares if you get a new one everytime?

Janesport Superbreak. My sling backpack won't carry my laptop.

jansport!! just a regular black one...that i luv.

and i use tote bags when i don't have too much to carry to class

LL Bean

I have a pink and black one (Eastsport, I think?) that I have around, but I very rarely use it. Usually I just use my tote or messenger bag to stick my notebook(s) in (unless I have more than 2 books/notebooks at a time, in which case I use the backpack). There's very rarely a need to carry the actual textbook to class, and I have relatively small notebooks (1" binders).

The people who wear Jansport, LLBean, and other mediocre backpacks should give Ogio a try.

Your backs will thank you.

Has anyone gotten an i-Pack? i saw one at a store today, didnt have an official "apple" logo. or maybe i didnt see it. But its got a laptop section and space for books and you can plug in your ipod and control it with buttons on the straps. anyone tried it? or is it a ripoff/scam by a pseudo-apple company?

It's not made by Apple, but A: It's sold by Target, so it can't hurt your iPod too bad, and B: I haven't heard any complaints about it on the iPod boards that I frequent.

I rarely if ever use a backpack, but I have an old 2003 American Eagle one. Holds a lot, really durable.

versace laptop case

Really people, do you need CC to decide on a backpack?

yes...we need CC to decide on everything in our lives

A Shorty's backpack... it's pretty bada**.
