What Bathing Suit Are You Wearing This Year? - NOT looking for recommendations!

This is my top from lands end. I got tired of sunburns on my neck and upper back and these swim tops hold everything in a bustier woman.

This is the bottom I’ve paired with this top. Very easy to swim and sun in. https://www.landsend.com/products/womens-chlorine-resistant-high-waisted-swim-skort-swim-bottoms/id_376480?attributes=13774

I saw that but when I was looking at one pieces I felt like they were so….plain

I had a double mastectomy several years back and “went flat.” Bathing suits all have shelf bras that scratch m scars. If anyone else has this problem, I would love suggestions.

@mathmom the blue one you posted looked like a nice shape

I’ll be wearing this shirt with either boy shorts or a swim skirt. 32 Degrees from Costco.

This is the same shirt in a different pattern. Tempting!

I need to replace my suit, which is sunbleached and sunscreen stained. I’ll probably get one of these:

I’m trying my best not to have to put one on. But when I do, I wear a 2 piece. Plus a coverup. I really hate wearing them now. I’m long waisted and with a minor mommy tummy pooch, look horrible in one piece and tankini suits from the side. Believe it or not, 2 pieces look better. Don’t have a pic thank goodness.

I really do love Land’s End swimwear (and, based on some of the links on this thread, I’m not alone!!). I especially love their swim skirts and shorts. I’m really self conscious in a normal bathing suit bottom.

But… I’m a little tired of wearing a tankini top with an underwire. And Lands End doesn’t have a ton of shelf-bra options. So I’ve been on the lookout for tops that will match the collections of lands end bottoms that I’ve accumulated. This is a new favorite that I got earlier this year. I like it a lot and might get another, since I see there’s a sale on now!

I have three of these high neck tops. I love them! I pair with bikini bottoms. I love not having to slather sunblock on my back and chest.

Try Jolyn suits; they’re made with athletes in mind, so most of their suits don’t have shelves. They’re really comfortable, and they hold up well to sun and chlorine.
They offer ones with full bum coverage which I personally like, but they have all kinds of styles.

In the purple ombre, with navy bottoms.

I also wear the LE high neck tankini tops, I think I have 4! I wear with the bikini bottoms or bike shorts.

Sadly, I rarely wear swimsuits. When we go somewhere where there is water and people are hanging out near pool/beach, I may wear skort or board shorts and rash guard top or short-sleeved tshirt.

My daughter was a competitive swimmer and always wore Jolyn suits- she owns dozens of them.

This is similar to what I wear:

After about 8 am in Hawaii, I add a rash guard shirt for sun protection.

Curious what this means?

I have been wearing variations on a black bikini for years (w/cover-up to walk to/from beach and hide from sun). What would ‘not age-appropriate’ look like I wonder?

I’ve bought this suit 5 times in different colors:

My swimsuits are mostly worn in the backyard pool and hot tub. I’m too tall for one piece suits. For the beach I’d wear a swim skirt , rash guard or sarong for more modesty. In my backyard I just want to be comfortable. Chlorine is tough on swimsuits so I need at least one each year.

I have this same top but I find it difficult to get off when wet.

I love to play around with swim suits so I own many! Spend more time at lakes, pools and waterparks than the ocean, fwiw. Also tend to be more active–walking, kayaking, tubing, water slides so I need good fit and care less about tan lines. I need serious support on top either built in or coverage for a traditional bra underneath.

This year I tried out 2 new bottoms from land’s end:
#1 Board shorts-longer length. Waist lies flat and is comfortable, moves with my body and the pockets are nice. Mesh on one side so they don’t hold sand and dry quickly. I like that I can wear these around town when we duck out for lunch without feeling like I need to change!

#2 High waisted swim leggings in navy.
These are not my typical style, at all, but I like to try new things. WOW, I was surprised how comfortable they were. Chose them for a 70 degree morning at the water park. We raced from slide to slide so I was wet and walking fast. Very comfortable, no chaffing, I was warm and not chilled, they felt great. Easy up/down for the bathroom and they dried relatively quickly.

Swim tops:
#1 I find this top flattering but the straps are not supportive enough for me for a full day for activity. I wear it when I’m spending more time lounging and visiting with friends.

#2 Flutter top, tankini. I bought one but I haven’t tried it yet. The straps and construction feel more supportive than #1.

#3 Cap sleeve swim top
Very comfortable, easy on/off, and I like the cap sleeve. I haven’t fully tested the top but I am a ways past D and require additional support underneath.

I like these shorts. I also tried similar shorts from target but the Carve design are much nicer.
With this top in a previous season print.

If it’s just me and my husband I wear an old Athleta black triangle top and bikini bottom.

I mostly do water aerobics and I like this top because it’s so easy to get out of when you’re done.

I usually pair it with swim tights.
