Before that I read Elements of Style and Bachelor Girls, both by Wendy Wasserstein and both excellent. I highly recommend them.

A Prayer for Owen Meany - John Irving

It was a great book, I'd recommend it to pretty much anyone. I know a few people are probably turned off by the Christianity thing, but that's not really a big deal.

Brave New World - Aldous Huxley

It was part of my summer reading and it was definitely different, but a lot of the points are still so valid today. I can't wait to get Island and read it. Huxley's a great author.

Well, right now I'm re-reading "Dust Tracks on a Road" by Zora Neale Hurston. But there's a series of books that I have heard about and want to read. Has anyone read or heard of "Twilight," "New Moon," or "Eclipse?" Please let me know what you think of these books. Thanks!

I saved up all my reading skillz for HP7. I'm about to start re-reading it soon, since I just finished with classes and will have the time. I will be reading alot for World Lit in the fall (Macbeth! yay!) so I don't feel the need to read a bunch this summer.

I re-read "To Kill a Mockingbird", "The Words of Martin Luther King, Jr.", and a little book called "Dharma Leads the Way" (a translation/compilation of some Buddhist (Pali) texts/lessons).

Red Dragon and The Catcher in the Rye. I want to read some Paolo Coelho but I need money to get his books.

I just finished reading almost everything by Mercedes Lackey (about 40 books since January).

I'm currently reading Elizabeth Moon's Hunting Party, because I've bought some of her recent books that are related, but I've forgotten the stories.

I've also read College Rules! (awesome!)--I highly recommend this to every single college student!!!!!!

I'm currently going through Campus Confidential.

^That's funny! I just finished skimming Campus Confidential. I read "Of Mice and Men" and HP and I want to start "East of Eden" asap. I highly recommend the Aubrey/Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian (you know that the movie master and commander was based on) ... so well written; I'm reading "Desolation Island" right now.
