What books to use for SAT 2 Physics and Biology ?

Barron is good for these exams?
Thanks

barrons for bio SUCKS...but I must say kaplan and princeton are very good. Kaplan closely mirrors the real test. Barrons I guess is good for MATH IIC in that it goes in additional depth...but if you aren't shooting for an 800 in math IIC then stick with kaplan...its good enough.

I don't know if this was just the case of the June Physics SAT II, but all the practice books (yes, even Kaplans) were harder than the real test. The test in June had only about 4-5 questions on eletricity+magnetism. The rest was optics and mechanics. I would just say know Kaplan's by heart. PR is okay except the questions are much harder than the actual test.

...which makes it better. no?

I think it's good if the practice is harder than the actual.

I had no idea Barron is not good for physics and bio! I was just about to buy them .Thanks a lot !!!!

I used Kaplans for Biology along with the Big Blue Book from CB.

The review from Kaplans is nice, even if you have recently taken AP Biology.

However, some of the questions asked by Kaplans will make you think, "Hmm...I didn't learn that in my Biology class..."

Nonetheless, it is good. I recommend it.

Thank you !
