What Cal states offer the best pre-med/bio programs?

<p>I'm going to apply to about 4 cal states and was wondering which ones offered the best pre-med/bio programs? Preferably in SoCal but NorCal's are fine too! Thanks</p>

<p>Although a student can do premed anywhere, typically premeds in Calif go to a UC rather than a CSU. What are your stats? Why aren’t you applying to UCs?</p>

<p>The top Cal States would be Cal Poly SLO, SDSU, SJSU and CSULB. Although most posters agree the going to a UC would be a better choice in you intend to go to Medical school, it is possible to do well at a high ranked Cal State and still have a chance at Medical school. If you have the Stats for SLO and SDSU, there are several UC’s in which you could apply also.</p>
