Definitely UCLA and UCSB, although I haven’t visited yet. UCSB looks like cheaper rent, which is attracting me, and they both have actuarial programs. My education is likely to be pretty equal. Plus, UCSB has a beach on campus. Major points. Also, on Yelp, the 5 star to 1 star ratio is higher at UCSB. Bonus points.

As for Berk, I don’t like the area, especially since Blakes shut down. That was my spot back in high school. Oh well.

UCLA definitely takes the cake for me: it has such a great vibe and atmosphere. The architecture appeals to me for some odd reason, and it also helps that many of my high school friends go there too and we’re only college freshmen right now

I haven’t seen UCB, but I’ve applied there and from what I’ve seen, it looks kind of like tons of gray limestone everywhere. I’m not sure if I’m a fan of its atmosphere or architecture at all

I’ve visited UCSD like a billion times because my sibling went there, it’s a pretty nice school with a great location, but I’ve kind of gotten tired of it after going there so many times

UCD has a nice vibe, little too big and too out in the middle of nowhere for me

I live like 10 minutes away from UCI, I like the campus but it’s pretty big, has the vibe of a commuter school, and I didn’t apply there
