What can I do now?

I've already taken the SATs two times, once in Nov '06 (1990, I don't remember the breakdown) and once in Jan '07 (2060:CR650;M760;W650) giving me a superscore of 2090 (Nov06:W680). Now, I want to go to Ivy-caliber school (Georgetown and UChicago being on top of my list), and I know that 2200 is just around 50% there.

What can I do improve my score? I'm thinking I can try for an 800 in math and a 700 in writing and reading.

A counselor has told me if I could do as well as I did on the writing MC, but get a 10 essay, I could get myself in the 700s there, so I could review grammar rules and practice my brainstorming/writing time.

Math, I think, is just a matter of practicing my time.

But for CR, what can I do? Memorize a couple words? How much? Which? How can I improve my reading speed/comprehension? I usually never get the passages...

How does my game plan sound? Which book should I use? My counselor also told me that practice is a perfect... Which book(s) would give me accurate and ample practice? I have about half a summer, starting now.

If you havn't worked your way through the official college board book, then get it. I would also recommend getting a workbook for each subject for extra review, practice, and more practice.

THis WILL sound stupid but memorize random words for CR like I did (1 pg. fr. and back) and they will come up- 1 or 2 at least.
