What can I do to transfer to any Ivy League I want?

I am attending community college full time taking three classes every semester. I plan to apply to Harvard,Stanford,Yale, Princeton, and M.I.T. and major in computer science and computer engineering. During my high school years I spent each year taking more and more computer classes. But now that I am in college I also have to work part time which means I don't have time for any extra curricular activities. With my education plan I can't take any AP classes or anything. But what else can I do to increase my chances of getting accepted? Any help from current students or counselors would be great.

Princeton doesn’t take transfer students buddy. :frowning: I’m in the same boat as you except I will be applying this fall. Something you need to understand is only about 20 some students (average) are accepted to these universities as transfers because not many students drop out there. Therefore, YOU HAVE TO STAND OUT. You’ll need to keep as close as you possibly can to a 4.0. You’ll need SOLID EXTRACURRICULARS THAT EXHIBIT YOUR PASSION OR ARE RELATIVE TO IT.
Tbh, I know two people who transferred from CC to Cornell and Columbia and they went all out. They didn’t have any special circumstances but they had solid 4.0’s, were super involved both inside and out of the college; their summers were packed with EC’s. They were bent on standing out. Working and achieving grades is probably what every other of 1000 transfer students who apply will have. You’ll need to stand out in THAT applicant pool. Become involved at your CC and if you can, give back to the community.
Also just due to the statistical infavorability of being admitted to these schools, try looking at other more transfer friendly top schools that have strong comp-sci and engineering like UC Berk or UCSD, U of Michigan, etc. as well. I’ll let you know how admissions turn out for me.

Good luck!

Did you not read my question I HAVE TO WORK PART TIME I DO NOT HAVE EXTRA TIME FOR EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

If you don’t make time for stellar ECs you’re NOT going to transfer to an Ivy. Almost everyone applying will have 4.0s. Why would they choose you over the rest? You have to make yourself be special and standout.

A lot of people have to work part-time (some full-time) but they are STILL involved in extra curricular activities. As for myself, I managed to work part time and still become involved in a research program, being president of a club, and holding a board position for another club among other things.

You have to make time to enhance your application for schools that are very selective.
