What can I get my girlfriend for Christmas?

Girls. Help. She hasn't said anything she wants, and constantly says she doesn't need anything, but that's just girl code for "If you don't get me anything I'll kill you."

I'm kinda poor though. I need help figuring out something I can get her that's from the heart. You know, that cheesy gift-giving rule.

What are her hobbies and interests? That’s a good place to start.

Something you make by yourself would be interesting, like making a couple of diamond studs by putting carbon in an oven in your chemistry lab.

There’s an SNL skit that explains this…

Rather than a traditional gift, plan an outing. You could write some clues about your invitation for her to find where one solution leads to the next clue and the final clue is the invitation itself. You could plan to go ice skating, hiking, watch a sunset. Sometimes the best gift is a shared experience rather than a traditional gift. It’s lots of fun to follow the clues, especially if they are funny and personal. It also gives both of you something to look forward to.

Give her a high quality piece of art you made.

You could write a good poem and supplement it with a small gift

Jewelry. It doesn’t have to be expensive. Trust me.

jewelry (bracelet or necklace) , movie tickets (her choice), gloves or scarf

If she’s like you probably are, a nice SAT prep book will do. :D

Pretty much true. It is equivalent to: “let’s end our relationship.”

for christmas my bf got me (other than the obvious of course lol) some running gear since I do XC. fit something with her interests… or pay for a nice dinner? ice skating (that’s so cute)?
