What can you choose for freshmen housing?

<p>Just wondering, what exactly are you able to choose for freshmen housing. I know you can put preferences for which halls and roommate but can you also choose which building/floor you'd like to be on? Thanks!</p>

<p>If you aren’t in Schreyer’s or want to be in the engineering dorm, live in East. That’s where almost all of the freshman live. The dorms aren’t very good and they’re far away, but you want the atmosphere of being around freshmen. Then, sophomore year, you can live almost anywhere.
You can pick a roommate, but you can’t choose building or floor. They’re all pretty much the same anyway.</p>
