I'm currently a sophomore (technically after this summer I'll be a senior by credit) and I'm triple majoring in finance, economics, and criminology.

While I'm good at all three, the criminology is the only major I truly enjoy. My initial goal for triple majoring like this was to increase my chances of getting into a good business grad school. I eventually wanted to end up on the management side of some private security related firm, which is where the criminology major applies.

I'm finally coming to the realization that I may not be able to go straight into the MBA program of my dreams (either Georgia Tech or Duke) and I'm also wishing I had done something computer related like a CS major. I love my current school (Florida State) but the CS program here leaves much to be desired. After taking a computer course and talking with other CS students I decided the CS program here just wasn't right for me, with my biggest complaint being that many of the CS classes don't actually have computers in the classrooms for students. The professor gets up and rambles about code for an hour and a half and you're expected to go home and figure it out, which isn't how I think CS should be taught.

I contacted Georgia Tech about the ability to work on an MBA while also completing the undergrad CS major and they said that was not allowed. I either would have to do one or the other.

And now it's finally starting to sink in that I may have to get a job between undergrad and grad school to build up that "work experience" area and I'm trying to figure out where I should start looking at jobs.

I want something security related whether this be physical security (armed guard companies) or computer security or security systems. I want something where I can use my business related knowledge yet still work hands on in the security field but at the same time I want something that can make me some money (I don't want to be a mall cop).

I know this is a long rant but if you have any advice or ideas on types of jobs I could get with my degrees that satisfy what I'm looking for please share! Thanks!
