wow its interesting to see what classes u're all taking..
but most of you are in your junior years or so, so i cant really compare with mine..

does anyone have any advice for what classes to take as a first semester freshmen? what did u guys take before?

ECE 230 Digital Logic Design

Danny901, try taking as much math as necessary. Many majors need at least single-variable calculus. Also take at least one science course. Also take a writing class since many schools want writing requirements. It would be a lot more helpful to know what major you want to get into.

I'm only going to be a sophomore. My first year I took:

Semester 1
Econ 103-intro econ, a class I shouldn't have been in because I got 5's on micro and macro for the AP, and it truley was not fair to the other kids to have me in that class, plus it was boring as heck to sit through stuff I knew all over again, but they woulnd't let me skip it
Math 201-Calc 1
FOUN 96- a foundation seminar for frosh, we all had to take them, but mine was "the domestication of plants and animals"
Engl 106- Intro to creative writing
Total 16 credits

Semester 2
MATH 216- Stats 1
ECON 256- Intermideate Micro (my HS AP class was so good we learned stuff in it that we didn't even touch in this class)
ASTR 102- intro astronomy course
ENGL 204- a mid-level poetry class.

That was my first year.

Unified Engineering I
Unified Engineering II
General Relativity
Waves and Optics
+ some humanities class.
