What classes are you taking next year?

I was thinking about taking 5 AP classes next year that take up 7 blocks, and a teachers aid (help a teacher out doesn't count as a grade). I will be a senior but I think that I can handle it.

What classes are the rest of you planning on taking?

What a coincidence. I too am taking 5 APs and a teacher's aid.

AP Human Geography (they play geo safari in this class)

AP Government

AP Chemistry (Might switch this with Poly Science class (Constitution team) as our team this year is going to Nationals)

AP English (only hard AP)

AP Spanish (couldn't care less about Spanish, I'll get a 1 on AP test probably rofl)

Teacher's aid with science teacher. (Fleming)

El1jah take Poly Sci over Chemistry, it will look soooo much better on your transcript and if you have any plans on passing the chem test in May you are up several weeks of self study because_____(insert his name here) doesn't have a clue what he is talking about.
Unless, by taking Chem you are able to improve your class rank....

IB English HL
IB Music HL
IB HOTA HL
IB Math HL
IB Spanish SL
IB Physics SL
Show band or Jazz Band.

Visirale your taking IB classes, I've never really looked into them. They are not offered at my school, are they similar to AP.
Forgive my ignorance.

IB Chem HL
IB European History HL in French
IB French A2 SL
IB English A1 HL
TOK
International Politics
Band/Choir
Spanish 10 (because a full-IB senior in a regular 10-level class is cool... no, actually, because IB doesn't give me prereqs for anything other than IB... except physics... but I loathe physics... so Spanish it is!)

Btw, I'm finishing Bio SL and Math Methods SL this year. Two exams down, four to go.

Yeah, sort of. Most colleges only give you credit for the Higher Level (HL courses)... This year I'm taking AP world, AP Music theory, and IB Spanish III and Precalc... The AP's are much more in depth, but the IB classes are very broad... Like you actually learn more in IB, but learn more focused in AP... if that makes sense :P.

AP Lit
AP Physics C
AP Calc BC
Econ/Government (Required senior social studies courses)
AP French OR Philosophy

I'm leaning towards Philosophy because it's really interesting, and AP French is supposed to be the hardest course at my HS.

IB English hL
IB Biology hL
IB HOTA hL
IB Math 2 sL
IB Spanish 2 sL/hL (deciding)
IB TOK

I'll probably end up not taking one or two of those APs.

AP Statistics
AP US History
Honors Contemporary Lit
Cuisine of Provincial France

AP US History

...and a teachers aid (help a teacher out doesn't count as a grade).

I was a teacher's aid last semester. It was really easy, but boring at times; I was usually either grading statistics tests (which I got a 5 in), making xerox copies, or working on organizing fund-raisers for our math team (I was mu alpha theta president and the teacher was the club sponsor.)

I got a free hundred that went down on my transcript as "Math Research" (heh). But if you're not getting any credit for it, why bother at all??

I'm going to take.....

AP English Comp
AP SPanish Lang
