I'm still thinking about my two electives, although I think I might take a study hall...
Then of course, gym/health are required, so I need to take those, too...

Next year, I'll be a junior and hope to take the courses below at my local college through a dual enrollment program. I really don't like English and history but I have to take double the amount because I'm trying to graduate after my junior year with all my requirements met. Also, has anybody done PE in the morning (6:30-7:30)? I'd really like to get it over with and think it would be a good class to start the day off.

I'm trying to decide what to choose for my third HL class. If anyone is interested in helping me out, please post here -- it would be greatly appreciated.

A question to current Diploma students: Have you had any experience with taking a fourth HL class? Is the workload manageable? My school discourages it, but I'm interested.

(next year I am going to be a sophomore)
Adv Chemistry
Adv Algebra II with Trig
Adv English
Adv American History
Adv Latin II
Debate Team (takes up a period)
Newspaper (also takes up a period)

ill be a senior

ap physics b
ap literature
ap macroeconomics
ap us government
ap calc bc
ap spanish literature and language

possibly the shakespeare elective if enough people sign up
possibly ap statistics

AP Chem
AP Comp Sci
AP Stat
AP Lang
Gov/Econ
Graphic design
Math Seminar

AP Lit
AP Macro/AP US Gov (each is a semester)
AP Bio
AP Chem

Comp sci independent topics (I'll get to choose the topics for the two other people in this class--nothing past CS AB, right? ^^) or AP French

Summer: Calc II (BC topics, school doens't have BC course), fine art something
Fall: Mult calc
Winter: Lin Alg

Spring: Diff Eqs

Question:
Should I do AP French or the comp sci thing? I like French, but getting a whole hour everyday to do random computational research is freaking awesome.

In regards to gym in the morning...It's disgusting...I have gym in the morning...It's disgusting when it's first period (we have a rotating schedule)...You feel like crap for the duration of the day...

it seems we've got us a bunch of overachievers here, myself included, lol:)

AP Calc ab
AP Calc Seminar (completes AP curriculum)
AP Euro
AP Euro Seminar
AP Macroeconomics
AP Psychology
Honors Physics
Honors Lit and Philosphy
.............and a bunch of useless electives because I have to fill up the spaces

Even though I'm a junior, I took AP Senior English and AP Gov this year, so I don't have to take them senior year

I really don't know if I should even be taking Calc, seeing as I HATE math and I'm afraid of getting a bad grade in the calc class. It seems that everyone on CC takes it in order to get into a "selective school", so I guess I'll sacrifice some brain cells and put up with calc

By the way, is there such a thing as Junioritis..........Ive been having these funny symptoms lately...........

AP English Lit
AP Macro
AP Calc BC
AP Bio
AP Spanish Lang

Yearbook
Civics (forced to take this blasted 1 semester class. School doesn't offer AP Gov)

I love how people classify yearbook as a "chill" class. At my school, yearbook is probably more stressful than my AP classes (during deadline). Oh well.

I love how, at your schools, yearbook is a class.

'Round these parts it's an after school activity.

"Publications Productions" is the proper name of the class, since we manage other things besides the actual yearbook.

And maybe 'round your parts, things just suck.

I didn't mean that disparagingly -- it was just an observation. We have "Journalism" for managing the school paper. ;)

My classes have changed since the last time I posted this. Here is my new schedule for next year. Ill be a junior

AP Art
AP Biology
AP USH
AP Lang
Precalc Honors/Gifted
Debate/Model United Nations Class
Scultpure 3

I am taking 5 AP classes this year and it SUCKS...My schedule:
Spanish III
Physics C Mechanics and E&M AP
English 12 AP (LIterature and Comp.)
US Government AP
Jazz Band
Calculus AB/BC (technically both, we fly through this class and it's impossible)
Computer Science III AP (Java)

taking 5 AP classes without a study hall or early release or something is NOT a good idea if you're interested in having a social life... I hardly work at all and still keep decent grades in most (except calc..) but it's just stressful everyday spending each class doing another class's homework... haha. But it has definitely been worth the social life I've had this year.
