<p>you need to go to college in order to get any type of degree. </p>
<p>sports medicine involves:</p>
<ol>
<li><p>4 years of Pre-medical college (usually majoring in science, Chemistry or Biology, for example.) while maintaining a high GPA (3.6-3.8 to be exact.) </p></li>
<li><p>4 years of med school</p></li>
<li><p>3-5 years of residency</p></li>
<li><p>1-3 years of fellowship of Sports Medicine </p></li>
</ol>
<p>i feel bad for all those doctors who are approached so differently for what they really are. They need to be more acknowledged for what they went through just to become a MD.</p>
