So for two years I took general classes, but I have now decided on electrical engineering, and UCSC in particular. I don't want to spend another two more years in a community college!

So for fall 2011 I have so far:
1. Calculus 1
2. Java 1
3. English 1

I looked on Assist and UCSC's site, besides core classes, there aren't a whole lot else to add. Is english required? What else can I add?

Help?

My suggestion would be to call a SOE (School of Engineering) Advisor and I’m sure they can give you the correct and helpful answers! Also, I found this for you:

You really need to take Calculus and Physics before you transfer to UCSC EE. You won’t even be able to declare the major until you have at least most of your lower div core classes done.

Besides, how do you know you’ll even want to do EE until you take them?
