I'm missing several but those are the ones I can think of right now

omg CollegeHereI_Come!, which school do you go to?

Excluding sports and music...

Art/Photography Club.
Fashion Club. (lolololol.)
Model UN.
Red Cross Club.
Speech/Debate Team.
Some other community service club that may or may not exist this year.

My school is where clubs go to die, and it's a huge magnet school.

Oh, I forgot the photography club above, and also the Step Team.

Anyway, I go to a school with around 2000 students, which explains our vast number of clubs

all the schools around me have a ton of clubs, but mine has almost none because we're an arts school and I guess they figure most people are busy with shows/rehearsals/etc. I wish we had more though. Anyway, we've got:

Gay-Straight Alliance
Writing Club (literary magazine)
Philosophy Club
ACLU Club (might not be around this year, not sure)
Coalition of Christian Artists
Anime Club

National Honor Society
Key Club
Several clubs focusing on a specific culture...
Link Crew

And 1-2 others that I can't think of right now.
...we have basically nothing. My school has about 1100 students.

Yeah... I'm not even gonna try to list them all. My school has a lot more than any of the other schools mentioned so far though.

Does anyone have clubs that really do nothing? I think it would be unfair to put in on a college application. Also why don't colleges think much about Key club or NHS. I think they are pretty good. You have to put in like 20+ hours each year for those.

I go to an all guys school with about 450 students.

Excluding varsity sports:
Arrupe Society (service club)
Fencing Club
Drama
Stage/Tech Crew
Movie Club (used to be movie-making, now it's movie-watching)
LitMag
Politics Club (Young Republicans club merged with Young Democrats - they put out a political magazine once a month)
Speech/Debate
Newspaper
Yearbook
Friendly Sons of Georgetown Prep (Irish Club - lol, they're unofficially known as the white student union, it's really a big joke of a club)
Spanish Club
Photography Club
Oasis Club (rock bands)
Ultimate Frisbee
OAS
Black Student Union
NHS - but they don't really do anything, justtutor the underclassmen boarders now and then, and help with open house

I'm sure I've missed a bunch, but these are the ones that come to me off the top of my head.

Band (Marching, Concert, Jazz, Percussion Ensemble)

Indoor Guard

German Club

Spanish Club

Spanish Honor Society

Latin Club

French Club

Scholastic Bowl

Salem Scholars (the 10th grade version of NHS)

Musical Theatre

Drama Exposed

The Visual and Performing Arts Academy

Technology Club

DECA

And I'm sure there's more, but those are the only ones I ever hear about.

Oh yeah, we have an anime club too... but all they do is watch anime anyway, so it doesn't seem very... impressive. o_o

I don't know anything at all about key club, but the NHS at my school is a very flimsy thing. There are sporadic ten minute meetings scattered about the year, one special event a year, and that's the end. Not something that a college would care about. It certainly doesn't add up to 20 hours, and 20 hrs a YEAR is not a lot in the grand scheme of things. But if it's an actual, real-live, important club to you, you should probably work that into the app somewhere...
