<p>I just finished my junior year with a cumulative GPA of 3.972. My best subject is math so I decided to major in business/finance. But after taking the SAT Subject Tests- math II and U.S. history, I have a bad feeling that the scores are going to be much lower than i expected. What college should I go visit? Also, I haven't taken the SAT I, but planning on taking it in October of this year. My extracurricular activities include dancing (since I was four years old, nonstopping, have received several awards), singing (only in high school, was accepted to All State Chorus for 2 consecutive years and Honors Chorus), and I joined several clubs at my school.</p>

<p>Do you want to travel by air or by car? How far do you want to go? Where are you starting from? (where do you live) Also, what is your budget? Travel can get expensive paying for transportation, hotels and restaurants. You can also consider traveling to a city such as Boston where you can visit numerous colleges on one trip.</p>
<p>Some other questions for you: Do you want to continue dancing in college? Is it important to you to be in or near a city? Is a business/finance major something you’re actually interested in, or did it just seem to fit with your strength in math?</p>

<p>Yes I would like to continue dancing in college, and again, location does not matter. Business/finance is definitely something I’m interested in. Accounting and marketing are the other two choices… just something in that direction.
I’m also bilingual: chinese and english. I’m going to take Spanish III next year, don’t know if that helps.</p>
<p>So mainly i’m looking for a few, maybe just one or two prestigious colleges, and some other medium level, not so difficult to get in (based on my circumstances) colleges. And it all depends on my SAT score, which i’m planning to take in October. Other than that, my school grades and extracurricular activities are fine.</p>

<p>Since SAT I scores tend to be similar to PSAT scores, if your PSAT scores were not the great, you may want to consider taking the ACT as well as the SAT I. Many students do much better on one than the other,and all schools will accept either test (although most schools require the “optional” writing section). That could help you out.</p>
<p>Certainly your GPA looks good, but is it weighted or unweighted? Without additional information such as test scores, class rank, or number of honors/AP classes, it’s hard to put your GPA in context and say what possible matches and/or safety schools would be.</p>
