I have a very competitive class, so I usually don't have a lot of confidence when comparing myself to the other top students and I want an honest opinion of where I stand in terms of colleges and what not. I have a 93.8 GPA (all As, except for one B- and one B+ both in freshman year) and an SAT score of 2160 (780 M 760 W 620 R). I do plan on retaking the SAT to bring reading up into the 700s and hopefully get an 800 in writing. I took 2 AP classes last year and 6 this year (I'm a junior). As long as my senior year schedule works out, I'll be taking 4 APs and one college class next year (I'll graduate with 12 APs out of the 14 my school offers). I got a 4 on AP World History and a 5 on AP Music Theory and I believe I will probably get 4 5s and 2 4s this year. I took precalculus over the summer at SUNY Stony Brook and received a 4.0 in the class and I plan on taking physics there over this summer. I know academics are only a part of it, but what colleges are in my range? Are the ivies a realistic possibility for me? My first choice is Columbia but I'm not sure how realistic that is. My UW GPA is low but I will probably be 4th or 5th in my class out of 200 and just to put things into perspective, the valedictorian's GPA is probably around a 97.7 and he has taken the same amount of AP classes as me.

I do play the viola-I got first chair in an all-county orchestra this year out of 30 violists and I am the section leader of my high school orchestra

Thanks!
