What colleges should I be looking at(Business)? 3.4 GPA 32 ACT

Hey guys this is one more attempt at getting some insight into colleges that would accept me with these stats. Before you look at them and suggest a college I would appreciate if the colleges named were big(more than 8k) with very good undergrad business programs.

Emphasis on entrepreneurship is very important to me and that would be a big plus. My parents make >50k a year and we are URM(African born, raised in US), my mom has a ged;father masters degree from Hamline U. High school I go to is not very good and has 1600 students. My freshman year GPA was very bad. Sophomore year was a 3.46 GPA with 2 AP classes and 1 Honors(3/6 were honors or ap). Junior year I have 2 AP classes and 1 Honors class + French 4 and I will end it with around a 3.56 ish. Cumalative GPA is 3.277 now before final semester's grades are added.

Objective:

SAT I (breakdown):X
ACT: 32
SAT II: X
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0):3.35(Will be 3.4 by first tri of Senior year if EA otherwise it will be 3.35) this part kills me
Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): Top 10% is 3.7 at my school so IDK what rank is. I AM NOT TOP 10%
AP (place score in parenthesis): 5 honors (lowest grade a D freshman year) and 3 Ap classes A/A-'s in all. Did not take Ap test only for rigor
IB (place score in parenthesis):X
Senior Year Course Load: Ap GOV, AP Pysch, Honors Comp&writing, AP art studio, Honors Pre calc, French 5 and general physics.
Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.):X

Subjective:

Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis):

I have started multiple businesses since I was about 14. When I was 14 I started a business selling WOW characters(game) and later created my own website and marketed the website on Google. I did not make much money from it but maybe the experience counts for something?

I later quit WOW since it was taking way to much time away from studies and started another service. This one I would remove bad reviews, personal information and other undesirable stuff from Google. I had clients ranging from lawyers to Beverly Hills plastic surgeons.

Now I am in the process of getting a job with a pretty big SEO (search engine optimization helps rank in Google) and Reputation management(bad reviews, social media etc) and they said they are willing to pay me $2.5k per month with up to $5k if I can get the leads they want. I am also starting my own local business for seo and reputation management getting leads from Craigslist and cold calling

*Ignite mentor at my school(helps lower students) with getting used to high school life. 1 YR

Job/Work Experience:
I worked at a fast food place for 4 months Junior year
I also work currently for a couple of people/companies who pay me to create websites, market them in Google and other search engines, and to optimize for conversions.

Volunteer/Community service: 200 Hrs at Animal shelter

Summer Activities: Volunteering. I will be visiting Togo for 6 weeks. Anything I can do while there to help my app?

How much are your parents willing to pay for school? What is your home state?

I don’t think my parents will be helping out much(<50k). Home state is MN

bump10char

Is staying in state not an option?
U of MN Carleton school of business is highly revered and you might have a shot at getting in. You certainly wouldn’t get a lot of merit aid but it would be much less expensive then an out of stats school. Try their net price calculator out.
Otherwise, if you’re looking for inexpensive schools MN has reciprocity with SD, ND, Wisconsin (I think) and the Canadian province of Manitoba.

Looking at U of Wisconsin-Madison. Tution says $25k OOS but $9k in state. Which one would I be paying?

In the earlier post I meant parents wont be helping out much

I second Carlson - University of Minnesota as your best bet and best financial bet. Mankato and Moorhead also have business as an undergrad. Many of the Wisconsin unis have business. Iowa, Iowa State, Northern Iowa all have business.

If you want to push further away:
Indiana has an excellent business program but make sure you have a financial safety/acceptance safety nailed down. For other potential financial and stats reaches read up on Bentley and Babson in Massachusetts, Miami (in Ohio), Villanova (in Pennsylvania), Butler in Indianapolis.

Ayite, you’re eligible for the [Midwest Student Exchange Program](Midwest Student Exchange Program)

Fordham has a wonderful undergraduate business degree. Go Rams!
