I live in PA and I play football and am apart of 3 clubs
Is this bad? What colleges should I look in to?
Thanks so much!
What is your financial situation? What majors are you interested in?
My parents said they would be able to pay as long as tuition doesn’t exceed 60, 000 and I’m interested in poly sci and journalism
As far as I know, tuition alone does not exceed $60K/year at any college in America.
Are your parents referring perhaps to the total cost of attendance per year?
Or, are they referring to the total cost of tuition over all 4 years?
For apples-to-apples comparisons, you’ll want to know the maximum your parent(s) are able and willing to contribute per year toward the total cost of attendance (which can include room, board, books, travel, etc.) This is a very important number to know in determining which schools are realistic options.
If that number is $60K/year, then you should be able to afford nearly any college (possibly with the addition of “self help” from student loans and employment).
Other information that might help:
- class rank
- personal preferences for college size, location (state/region), setting (urban/suburban/rural), etc.
