I have currently been accepted into Hunter, Baruch, and City College.
I can’t seem to find any thread that indicates which college truly is regarded as the best for premed. I hear Hunter tends to be regarded as the most prestigious of the CUNY colleges, but City College lists biology as one of their most popular majors. I’m confused ha. Thanks for the help in advance!

Hey! I’m in the same predicament as you are! I’ve been accepted into all those schools (except I didn’t apply to Baruch—Brooklyn instead). Honestly, I heard that all CUNYs offer the same kind of education. But I am leaning more in toward City and Hunter. What do you think of hunter? The only thing stopping me is the issue with dorming for both City and hunter… :-S I heard it’s hard to get into the dorms at Hunter…

I just know that City College has the Sophie Davis Program, which form a large community of biomedical students and resources. Here’s some more info on premed at City College: http://www.ccny.cuny.edu/premed/

As for the dorms, I know that City College has pretty nice ones, but they’re pricey (laundry is ‘free’ though). Also, it’s in Harlem, so be smart at night. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help. I’m just an architecture student at City, who knows some people in the sciences.
