What did any of you think of the NW College Credit summer program?

What classes did you take?
Was it worth it?
Is it hard to get into?

Any other information is appreciated......

Hey...I attended College Prep last summer at Northwestern and it was soo awesome. I took theories of argumentation and Anthropology as well as the required writing course. Everyone was really friendy and nice to us. I don't think that its that hard to get into. They said they accepted about 40% of the people that applied. I would definitely encourage you to apply. My roommate took an intensive sequence in chemistry and he was REALLY stressed out. I dont reccomend that. all the other classes seemed ok though.

I am going to apply to take Calc 1 and 2. Do you have any oppinions about that? Hmmm....I realy hope that I get accepted!

I think that is an intesive sequence too...i dont remember anyone taking it last year. If you think you can handle it go for it...i'm sure you will do fine

nope...it is not an intensive sequence...it is however and eight week program instead of the 6 week

oh yea...

What would you do all day?
Did you work more or hang out more?
Would you recommend the classes that youtook?
How were the people ther?
Were the rules strict?

hey i took the College Prep program and it was such an awesome experience. I took the intensive Chemistry course and yes, it was VERY tough, but in the end it really got me prepared for science classes. I have to say I was able to manage to have fun and work hard at the same time. It was such a great experience and looks good on college applications next year ;-) i would recommend it definitely..
