What Did You Do Better In: Act Or Sat?

Post What You Scored Better In:

Act Or Sat

ACT by a significant amount. got a 640 on SAT verbal, 35 on ACT reading. obviously i am literate.

So far, ACT-32 vs. SAT 2090.

ACT=better on this conversion scale (<a href="http://www.ivywest.com/acttosat.htm)%5B/url%5D">http://www.ivywest.com/acttosat.htm)</a>, and equates to a 1420 SAT. Keep in mind that there is no standard conversion scale that colleges use...this just gives you a rough estimate based on percentiles.

But I took the SAT over today, so we'll see if I do any better :)

ACT 31 v. SAT 2020 (1300)
i also took the SAT today, so maybe an improvement

dang gonzo... we have pretty close scores...cool. I hope today's SAT boosts us!

ACT 34 v. SAT 2220

But keep in mind I took the ACT three times and the SAT only twice, which may have an impact on the results.

ACT 27 vs. SAT 2020 (1350).

I took the SAT twice and that's my composite best score. I only took the ACT once and didn't spend $5k at kaplan preparing for it.

i pulled out a 33 act, coming from a 2090 sat.

it was mainly from a 36 science though. i still did poorly on the reading/english, like i always do.

MUCH better on the SAT.

34 ACT (did about 5 practice tests), 1950 SAT (no prep)

35 ACT 2190 SAT (1480) so i guess slightly better on ACT

tomshaq, that's more than just slightly better on the ACT. A 35 translates to about a 2330 on SAT, or 1550. Are you sending your ACT score?
