It's 4 AM on the West Coast and I just got back from Black Friday shopping, round 1. I realize that most of the deals aren't that good in reality, but I got this gorgeous blue kenneth cole reaction dress shirt, slim fit. I orgasmed when I tried it on because literally a tailor could not have made a better shirt.

Nothing, on tv they said blackfriday is bs and there are better deals after black Friday :P

Cybermonday!

I can’t think of Black Friday without the Kohl’s jingle getting stuck in my head…

My family never goes Black Friday shopping. The only reason I would go Black Friday shopping is for clothes. But, my mom doesn’t ever want to take me anywhere, so maybe when I turn 17 or go to college, I’ll go with my friends.

I got an extra few hours of sleep.

I got a rock

^hahahahah

I camped out at Target for about 6 hours and got a great (and most importantly, cheap!) HDTV. While many of the deals are not worth it, some actually are because they take losses on certain products to get people in the door. It was actually a really fun experience, and I made a few friends in line. I never thought of myself as one of those Black Friday freaks, but I’ve converted!

Pretty decent clothing. :3 Apart from the shoe section, the crowd wasn’t nearly as bad as expected.

I’ve come to the realization that the convenience of online shopping is the better alternative on Black Friday. I used to be that guy that camped out at Best Buy for a computer or TV, but last year my family purchased an amazing HDTV set on Amazon during Black Friday (TV, Blu-Ray Player, 3D pack) for a good $600 less than what was retailing at the nearest Best Buy and Costco. This year, I did go to Macy’s (just for memory’s sake) and picked up some nice sweatshirts, but, the best deals I’ve found were online ($595 suits going for $200, from the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Tom Ford, and Kenneth Cole. Relatively badass).

Is it true thay during the black friday an iphone4 is sold for only 150$ ??
When did exactly black friday start and how did it start ? Iam international and Iam a bit curius.

^Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving in the US. Note that Thanksgiving in the US is celebrated at a different time than Thanksgiving in Canada.

I bought lots and lots of nothing. Yea.

An Xbox 360 bundle for $200 and Uncharted 3 for my PS3 for $30 at best buy

Yeah, I play video games!

I had to run an errand this afternoon so stopped into stein mart and got a new carry on 21" carry on bag (I am blanking on the brand but it’s one we’ve talked about on cc) for $56. I decided to buy a whacky color instead of a black one.

I also bought some sale stuff at the drugstore.

Scream 4–$5.99

Pretty much one of the only things I wanted.

best buy was crazy here… at midnight there were thousands of people waiting

I started Christmas shopping and bought some really nice calendars for my family since I didn’t get my paycheck Wednesday. I also bought Transformers 3, Cop Out, Red, and
Grown UPS DVDs from Target for $25. I also got some clothes from Rue21 for $20.
