What did you tihnk of AP Euro?

i did diplomacy | nationalism | effecting lifestyles

do u think militarism, nationalism, and effect on lifestyles is a logical way to pslit it up?

MC was difficult.
DBQ was stupid. Sports?
-Nationalism
-Women
-Lifestyle

Sports is not a stupid DBQ. I actually yelled out in happiness when I saw it.

I thought the DBQ was awesome--it was an clever, interesting question that really makes you take a look at history from a different perspective (...which is what the perspective DBQ on the Euro AP is all about!) Plus, they picked a great batch of documents which served the prompt excellently. I mean, would you have rather had a boring DBQ on mercantilism or something weird but intriguing like organized sports?

I separated into:

-Nationalism
-Physical Health (societal emphasis or lack thereof)
-Warfare

Mercantilism would have been wicked.

DBQ was weird. Even though i love soccer.
Question #7 was a gift from god.
What if i didnt really separate documents into 3 groups? Is my grade gonna suffer a lot?

I studied 8 hours yesterday and I think I got a 4. :(

I had 5 groupings (used some documents 2-3 times and used all of them):
-International affairs (wars)
-Women
-Enjoyment
-Physical health
-Lesson teaching

if you didnt do groups you cant get more than a 5. groups are worth 1 poitn and you need core 6 before you can get last 3

DBQ, using all docs
-personal achievement and glory
-political expressions
-changes in society/regimen

Essays: 2 and 6 - none out of all 6 did I know, so I totally bs'ed. I hope I get a 4, but I doubt it's possible.

I chose 6 as well.
I was just drawn to it more so than 7.

I grouped my DBQ into 4 paragraphs:

Nationalism
Human perfection
Mass spectator
Women in sports and their struggel for equality

Does that sound good?

I actually thought this test was easy. On the MC, i left about 9 blank but the ones i marked im pretty sure I got about 90% of those correct. I believe my essays were good too, i wrote about 4 and about a half pages for each essay. My only concern is that I have horrible handwriting and the graders might not be able to read my essays........

dang thats bull. groups are stupid so i never do them

I thought if you don't do groups you can't get the 6 core points...

Four and a half pages for EACH essay???? One of my FR was a page and a half. I didn't even know what I was talking about and just attempted to bs it.... One of the proctors called that it was 45 minutes and that we should be on the second essay and I had only finished the 2nd body paragraph of the DBQ!!!!......

^haha that happened to me too. I was on my 2nd body paragraph when the proctor said we should be on our 2nd essay. I picked up my pace and managed to actually finish 10 minutes early.

any comments on my grouping and my earlier post? ^^

same here. when the proctor called 45 minutes, i wrote about 2/3 of my dbq. I forgot to time myself, had no idea how much time i had left, so i hurried and bsed the one about columbian exchange, got about a page and a 1/3 on that, started the one about germany, wrote intro and a body paragraph, and then he called the 1st 35 minutes. I was done 25 minutes before time was called, 3.5 pages for dbq, 1.3 for first frq and about 3 for 2nd. Praying for a 3 (literally)

I used up 17 pages.
I thought the MC was surprisingly easy. The DBQ was funny. The FRQ are sooooo good for me. I don't know a thing after WWII :)

er.... my DBQ thesis was just that europeans perceived sports as 1) a chance for self achievement and glory, 2) a change in social regimen, and 3) a way of political expression

is that okay?

I didn't actually draw out a conclusion, I just said what they viewed sports as....

and I SO should have done the FR on the Count-Ref.....Instead I had a brain spasm and had to do the one above it...stupid idiot....

The DBQ was unexpected, but also pretty easy. The other FRQs were easy too. I literally yelled out in joy when I saw the question on Germany's loss in WWII. Easiest question ever. The columbian exchange question was easy as well.

what was outside info u could have put in the dbq?
