er....I think I have a problem...is it just my imagination or did i do my two FRQ from the SAME PAGE???!?!?!??!

i did one about differences of the relationship of artist and society during the two different time periods, but i sort of remembered that that was on the Part C.

But then, in Part C, I remembered that I did the essay on why Russia was not as liberal as the west....!??!?!?!?!

omg - **** were they from the same page????

Hmm would it be bad if I didnt mention the monarchy stuff in the FRQ question on the Catholic Counter Reformation. I basically did:

I intro
II aims, individual reformers (savonarola, ximenes, st theresa)
III Council of Trent, Jesuits
IV results, conclusion

I also did number 7 on Hitler losing the war. What did u guys put for that? I had:

Diplomacy: US in war, attacked USSR and mistreated peasants
Military: Dunkirk, Battle of Britain, Stalingrad
Economic: Depression in Germany, USA powerhouse, USSR economy behind Ural Mountains

I thought MC was okay. I was ****ed off cuz it was one of those tests you really cant study for. I studied my butt off on post WWII stuff and there was only like 1 question on it. I really hope I got a 5 but i think i'll get a 4.

I think that Catholic Ref. essay was the worst I have ever done. I didn't mention any facts besides Council of Trent, and I forgot Jesuits completely. I said it was not successful without much support of my claim. Basically I failed miserably on that question.

OMG that test was insane. or maybe i'm just the only who thinks this...
for the dbq, i did pro-organized sports and against organized sports (not like separate categories and stuff) and i only did 5 groupings? we only need 5 anyways right? and i said the berlin olympics were in munich. DOH.

i did 2 and 5 frq. for 5 i only wrote 2 1/2 pages. too short? im just glad i never have to take that stupid test again. to docta, i think you did fine, but just so you know savonarola was 1400s, whateva, you have much more info than me.

it seems like everyone did pretty frickin awesome. that means this years distribution curve is going to be horrendous, and they do do the distribution AFTER they get the grades, this is bc they use the bell curve so 1/3 fail...sadly, but true. they cant give everyone 5's ya know. but anyways, i def didn't get a 5. 4 possibly...3 ya most likely :d

OMG.. you guys all wrote so much. and i thought i did well :(!

i did the art/society one - what were you supposed to put? i just talked about how they were commissioned to do religious stuff/portraits for rich people in the renaissance, and how their status was high in the renaissance. then for 19th century i bs'ed some stuff on romanticism and realism.. was it that they weren't afraid to express their opinions, to society? ahh!

then for the russia question.. so disorganized :(. something about economically serfdom and behind technologically, and socially religious stuff and how the west had liberal ideas. and then about the strength of absolutism in russia compared with england, etc.

gah! dbq was allright, and mc was okay. i got 3 blank and i think about 8 wrong..

ahh i hope! i was pretty confident afterwards, but reading everyone's replies makes me a little worried heh. i probably got more wrong on the MC though, those were the ones i was a little iffy on. hopefully i got at least a couple of those right..

my FRQ's were quite short. both were only 1 3/4 pages each, but i have pretty cramped handwriting.

is pretty interesting. it has sample essays, scored. wow, even the 2's and 3's appear to be pretty good. you might have to login as a teacher to see that page though.

I had never done a DBQ before, but a couple days ago my teacher told us how to do them. He basically said to group things by the authors, such as age, sex, social status, etc. It looks like everybody on here grouped them by topics...Which is correct?

our school averages 2-3 5's each year out of 80-90 people

yes, our teacher is THAT good (btw our school has a decent amount of people that scored 2300+ on sat reasoning and funny thing is that none of them got a 5, in fact some of those people got 3's)

edit: flip, my teacher has never taught us either and i haven't done one until the real AP test, but i actually did pretty good on it

on my essay #3 (the one about the Columbian Exchange) I did the following:

Intro
Body - Effects on Economy
Body - Effects on Population
Conclution

In my effects on economy I talked about how the imports in Europe of spices, cotton, and sugar lowered the prices since it was cheaper to transport them by sea than by land. I also said something about wages lowering because of this...
I then talked about how diseases were brought to Europe from the Americas. To say the truth I did not remember a specifid disease that was brought to Europe, I only remember diseases brought FROM Europe TO Americas. What do you think? Thanks!

I think I did good on by DBQ (even easier than last year's!!!) and on my second FR (did #4). The MC was ok, with only a bit more weird questions than the 2004 version my teacher gave us.

Multiple choice was more difficult than I expected.... but after getting about 78-80 on the AP US anything less would seem hard. Missed the Catherine de Medicis question, that one painting, the Peterloo Massacre one, and something about the Dutch economy.... other than that I'm fine from what I know.

My jaw dropped to the floor after seeing the DBQ..... but yeah all the lovely nationalism, feminism, and socialization **** worked fine I suppose.

Was very pleased with the Catholic Reformation option.... Council of Trent, Loyola and the Jesuits, Index, revival of Inquisition courts, reforms of Jimenez de Cisneros and Giberti, educated clergy.....

And the best was for last.... I love military history, and actually enjoyed writing the Germany one.... for military I wrote about the inadequate supplies of the German army and the Russian winter, the surprising performance of the Red Army and the "scorched-earth" policy, the Battle of Britain (radar technology, valiance of the RAF) and Hitler's overall underestimation of the resolve his enemies, as well as his foolish decision to assume position of commander-in-chief..... diplomatic- successful coordination of war effort amongst allies (Casablanca, Tehran, Yalta) versus lack of interaction between Germany and Japan..... economic- US industrial might, compounded by the damage German manufacturing sustained thanks to Allied bombing raids

Guys, I honestly don't think you should be so worried.... as long as you got about 40 of the MC and wrote okay essays, you'll get a 3 at least.
