<p>Maybe it's my school but guys seem to go for the louder girls that don't dress conservative.Guys outside my school don't have problems approaching me esp if they don't go to my school\are older.People at my school say I look younger than I am but then teachers think I'm a senior when I'm actually a junior.
Are guys intimidated by shy girls?</p>

<p>Nope, but it is always easier to talk to outgoing people.</p>
<p>I think sometimes guys are intimidated/turned off by shy girls because they take them for something they’re not because they haven’t talked to them. I’m not shy, but I’m certainly much quieter than a lot of girls in my grade. A lot of guys have told me I come off cold and they were afraid to talk to me haha. It’s just that I would say I am a pretty chill (as in calm) person compared to some of the girls in my grade. Like most of them are 24/7 flirting, screaming and I think I just kind of stood out in a way from them. But don’t worry if guys don’t talk to you yet. They will, haha. </p>
<p>And I can completely relate to the thing about how more guys outside of school talk to you. It’s sometimes that way for me. I think it’s because I get in “school mode” and tend to be half asleep/stressed for most of the day. I’ve gotten better though.</p>
<p>I’m a pretty outgoing and extroverted guy. I live off of an audience. So I do like a listener, but I love a living verbal environment. I need someone to verbally spar with. I need people to say things so that I can make a joke. Every cause has an effect. Without a cause there’s no effect and vise versa. So to conclude, I do prefer a girl who’s social, but not one who’s as talkative (or more) as (than) me.</p>

<p>Of course I’m being jocular and grossly over-exaggerating things here, but at some level, this pattern of thought holds true for at least a majority of guys.</p>
<p>Eh, It just easier to talks to less shy girls but all are potential dates (expect the ugly ones, no offense).</p>
<p>Shy is ok as long as they are not afraid to show interest back when a guy indicates that he likes her. If they are shy about this, then guys will lose interest quickly.</p>

<p>Lol most of my close friends are actually much more outgoing and well known but its different b/c I take more honors classes and they don’t so we know different ppl…I know I’m not ugly but since there aren’t a lot of guys that are my race to them I might be.</p>

<p>I like girls that are hot. Shy, loud, short, fat, tall, pale, tanned or blue with tentacles growing out of their head (ah, Aayla Secura)–it don’t make a difference to me so long as they’re hot.</p>
