Students at Cornell are Cornellians and those at Yale are Yalies. What do students at JHU call themselves?

good question...anyone?

i have no idea. but hopkinadians would be funny :D

i think they just call themselves blue jays. most schools dont have plays on the school name like that, you just go by the mascot.

hopkinsians.

Any current student like to comment if you are here?

come on...

I'm a current student and i gave you the answer already.

In the early '70s, we would occasionally call ourselves "hoppies" (as contrasted with "hippies", heh). Never heard "hopkinsians" in that era, but "bluejays" wasn't uncommon.

Oh thanks johnkgh and mootmom. John, I thought you were just joking the first time. Hopkinsian doesn't sound bad. Hoppies would have been really rad if it were still in use!

I love "hoppies." If my son gets in, he'll be so "hoppie". haha Sorry couldn't resist.

if we get in we can call ourselves whatever we want!

Miserable!

JoHo's....;););)

i vote for hoppie or JoHo

And I for hoppie. Hoppie somehow strikes me as being really cool.
