There is only space for 5 in the CA. Am I supposed to select just 5? I thought about mentioning them in the activities section, but there is not enough space.

I don't want to keep only the internationally/nationally recognized awards/positions because they are mostly in debate, and I am applying for engineering. So I wanted to keep science-y awards, but they are not internationally recognized (state wise)

Should I put all awards and ECAs on additional page thing? Just so that I represent myself fully?

International student btw.

I think you can publish only 5 award on common application. You can attach a resume.

The question wasn’t whether I can attach it or not, but if I should attach it.

I’d include them. Statewide may not be as official as your international awards, but it’s still something that can show your predilection for science. You only apply to college once - why hold back everything you’ve got?

The best thing to do is just to attach a resume, as helpchristianity said. Just put the 5 you are proudest of on the list.

When you say that you will attach it to the CA, how do you upload it? I do not see a place that you can do it. My son asks CA schools if they will accept his Extended Resume and they tell him how they want it sent: email or mail.

I see that there are some limitations to the Addtl info section and I don’t think a full resume can be uploaded. I would love any addtl info. if there is a trick to upload it.

Does the resume need to have anything academic? Like O Level (10th grade) or A Level (12th grade) results?

Or should it just have a list of extracurriculars and awards?

Or just ECAs, with no mention of academic awards?

It does not have to be a “resume”. The section on the Common App is “Additional Information”. Be brief and concise, and don’t repeat what is already on the application. You upload it the same way you upload your essay.
