What do I need to do exactly?

I’m from Bangladesh and I’m studying for my A’ Level, which is under the Edexcel Board of London. I want to get into San Diego State University. I’ll be applying in 2011. But, before that, I need to know what are my requirement(s).

Do I need to do SAT/ACT? If not, what else?

Do I need to do TOEFL/IELTS? If not, then what?

What exactly do I need to do? And how can I make sure that I get accepted for sure?

I’ve read that ECA’s help. I’ll be starting on that soon.

SDSU itself requires the TOEFL and will accept but does not require SAT or ACT scores from international applicants. There is however no guarantee that you will be accepted. That’s why it is common to apply to several colleges (the American high school I attended for a year suggested that students apply to 6 universities). Other colleges may need SAT or ACT scores to consider you for admission or scholarships, so it might be in your best interest to take one of the two exams anyway.

Thanx for the info. :)

SDSU will not give any aid at all. It will cost about $30Kyr for an international and graduating in just 4 years is not likely, so anticipate spending $150K. This may not be the best value for your education dollar.

The cost you posted, is that the overall expense of living and studying? 'Cause their website state(s) something a little over $20K per semester.

I realize what you mean by value for education dollar. The thing is, I don’t just want to study, I also want a good experience. A good college life. If you know of any other college(s) that are academically better but have quite similar college life, do let me know.
