What do people at the main campus think of oxford?

i've heard the students on the main campus think the students at oxford are extremely stupid and tend to be some what rude towards them. is this true?

so is that what a majority of the students think? or can someone that went to oxford make it through two years at emory without being the butt of too many jokes?

says who? seems like you have a problem with emory/oxford. so why dont you go on the washu thread since its so awesome?

A lot of Emory students talk crap about Oxford students behind their backs but usually aren’t rude to the actual students. There are some really dumb kids from Oxford and some that go on to get the Marshall scholarship. I’ve never been to the Oxford campus but I’ve heard stuff about it from friends. Some people like that it’s a smaller community and they claim that the classes are challenging. Other people complain that it is in the middle of nowhere and the administration is super strict about drinking.

Emory students don’t think of Oxford. It basically exists in its little town, away from Emory, and doesn’t get mentioned at Emory at all.
The general feeling that Emory students hold towards Oxford is negative but mostly apathetic. Most of them will never meet more than 10 people from Oxford (of course, many people from Oxford won’t admit that they’re from Oxford). Many students wonder why Oxford even exists. Of course, they’re rarely ever rude to an Oxford student’s face.

I agree with Posts#4 and #6.
