I know they look at your work and all, but what kind of questions do they ask you in the review?? I want to know so I can at least think about it. I have a few reviews at the end of the month and any feedback would be great. Thanks!

pretty much you should just know how to talk about art, your interests, your future, your work, and the world in general. ive had a few portfolio reviews and a lot of them ask about different arts/photographers(i do mainly photography so this is more relevant) i like/why. ive been asked what i plan to do with my work, why i want to go to their school, how long have i been photographing/creating art, once im in their school or wherever, what do i see myself doing with my work, what different pieces mean, etc. if youre making things that matter to you, youll be fine

“Why did you make this choice?” “Can you explain your choices in this piece?” “What inspired you to work in this style?” “What influences you?” “Can you talk about your process for this piece?” “Who inspires you?” “Whose art appeals to you?” “How long did this piece take you?” “When did you start pursuing art?”

Lots of questions designed to get people talking about their process and thinking. Basically, to get a sense for what you’re thinking about and how you work when you do art. Those are the biggest questions my daughter was asked. Also stuff about her background, and her goals.
