I don't call UCLA anything, I'm having way too good a time here to care what the heck is going on there. Much of the LA hatred stems from the fact that USC students can learn and have a good time, and don't create an over competitive environment which forces everyone to work themselves into misery, just my opinion.

Right... because you can't do that at UCLA.

:p

No, you sadly cannot. :(

It seems like most of the UCLA acronyms are a stretch, but the University of Second Choice is by far the best one (it's very true, with few exceptions). Too many UCLA prospects who get rejected resorting to USC - hence the oh-so applicable aforementioned acronym ;)

I disagree! If I get into both USC and UCLA, I'm going to USC!

Hey, I got into both USC and UCLA and went to USC. They really aren't comparable that way, especially if you come from out of state.

haha i knew the 'exceptions' would post. lets put it this way, theres alot less of you than those who turned down usc for ucla. congrats to both of you tho...

Yeah, totally. USC is my top choice outside of the Ivy League. I'd rather go to USC than Cal.

there's two 'exceptions' for ya. and here are about 143 more:

our acceptance letters are nicer, too

there are people who go to ucla over usc for financial reasons. many people cannot afford to go to usc if they do not get enough aid (there are more people at usc on serious aid/scholarships than the average person would think).

haha the ucla/cal group is huge

i have a friend who got turned down from cal poly and ucsd but got into cal spring admit - what a joke

this thread made my day

Don't BRUIN your life. Go to USC.
